Andrei Sysoev – head leader of LYRA project
He was born in St. Petersburg in 1970. Andrei has got high music education at St. Petersburg conservatory of music (graduated in 1993, class of V.Nesterov). He won International competition of Sacred Music in Roma, Italy in 1995 as the conductor of a chamber choir “SingerBridge”. The choir took honor of Audience of POPE John Paul II then. Now Andrey works as a choir master in St. Peter’s Cathedral in St. Petersburg. Andrey is well-known not only as a specialist in choir music of Renaissance, but as a composer. Some items of his Liturgical music has been edited in 2012 with a supporting of St.Petersburg Composer’s Unit. Andrei is taking part in music life of St.Petersburg, creating his activities with cinema music and teaching.
Zlata Gogol – contralto
Zlata was born on 01.11.1976 in St. Petersburg. She has graduated from City Academy of Culture (faculty of the History of Russian musical culture). Being a student began to work as a soloist of St. Petersburg Academic Philharmony. Zlata has got a deep wonderful contralto. She is a constant member of musical festivals of St. Petersburg. In her repertoire there are many arias and songs of Russian and European composers. Zlata successfully plays roles of Countess from “Queen of Spades” and Olga from “Eugene Onegin” – operas by P.Tchaikovsky. In 2013 she brilliantly performed the role of Orfeo in J.Peri’s “Euridice”. In 2014 Zlata has got the second Prize at International competition “The Angel of Hope” St.Petersburg, Russia, singing an aria-furioso of Serse by G.F.Handel. At present time, Zlata deals with Baroque Company “Le Petit Trianon” in St.Petersburg and other agencies as a solo-singer. Becides that, Zlata is a successful teacher and has a good experience as a stage director. Her stage works like “Decadence” and ‘Stone guest” has received high praise from many well-known cultural figures of St. Petersburg.
Aleksei Goloviznin – basso
He was born in the Karelian ASSR Byelomorsk in1972.His first tour was at age of 5(1977) through towns and villages in Karelia as a soloist of Group of Folk Art at the House of Culture.
1979 – Started training at the music school of Byelomorsk. In 1986 Aleksei has got an admission to SSMSH ( Music College) named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov in choir conducting.
In 1997 he graduated the State Conservatory in Saint-Petersburg at choir conducting class of Professor F.M.Kozlov and started creative activities related to work in the various professional choirs and vocal groups successfully touring in the United States (30 states), Japan, France, Italy, Germany, Austria,Holland, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland. Aleksei participated in several dozen records of choirs and vocal ensembles, scoring cinema movies and animated cartoons, still working in the sound of musical accompaniment of drama performances.
In September of 2004 had recorded a solo album of jazz standards “The Land Of Evergreen Themes” . Since 2005 – Constant recitals in the State St. Petersburg Philharmonic Jazz music leaded by David Goloshekin, jazz club “JFC”, a jazz club “Street Life”, continued cooperation with the Big Band of Sergei Gusyatinsky, joint performances with jazz musicians in the clubs of the city.
Marina Busse – soprano
Born in 1978 in Great Novgorod. Graduated from Music College named after
N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov (the choir-conducting faculty) in 1997. From 1995 till 2000 Marina took part in the choir of Mariinsky Theatre. 2005 – 2010 Marina studied in State Conservatory of St. Petersburg as a solo singer. She is a winner and diplomante of International competitions, among which silver diploma in Rome, Italy (2013)for brilliant performing of Mozart’s arias, Second Prize in «Admiralty star» St.Petersburg, Russia (2014).Marina has beautiful lyric-coloratura soprano of a full range which affords to sing music of different epochs from Mozart’s Queen of Night (Magic Fluite) to Prokofiev’s Luisa (The Duenna). Marina is developing her concert activity, teaching. From last two years, Marina has become a laureate of F. Chopin’s International Competition and S. Rachmaninov’s International Competition in St.Petersburgh.
Evgenii Tsvetkov – tenor
Evgenii was born in 1984 in Saint – Petersburg. He graduated from State Pedagogical University named after A.I. Hertsen, musical faculty. Since 2012 Evgeny is working as a soloist of Saint – Petersburg Chamber Choir (conductor – N. Kornev). Many times Evgeny went in tours with famous mail choirs, The Choir of Alexander Nevsky Monastery and The Choir of METOCHION OF OPTINA PUSTIN MONASTERY. Since 2017 Evgeny is working as a choir – master in Andreevsky Cathedral in SPb. His main specialty is sacred music. Evgeny’s light silver tenor has repeatedly adorned the performance of many masterpieces of Russian and foreign sacred music. One of the best experiences is “Psalms of David” by A. Gretchaninov (cantata for soloist, choir and organ).
Evgeny’s repertoire includes not only romances of S. Rachmaninov and P. Tchaikovsky or Russian folk songs, but modern music also, some pop and jazz. Playing a jazz guitar is one of his favourite.
